How do virtual consultations work?

You can initiate contact with the BRCA Center by calling (212) 434-6900 or submitting the contact form on this page.

We will then coordinate a time so you can speak with one of the clinical team members. The purpose of this call is for you to find out more about the BRCA Center and for us to learn how we can help you.

There are many things we offer at the BRCA Center including: genetic testing, counseling, surveillance, medications for risk reduction, fertility preservation, and various surgical procedures for risk reduction or treatment. Figuring out what you may need (and when) is the first step of getting you plugged in. This consultation is free of charge and your insurance will not be billed. We will work with your insurance only after you meet with our specialists, just like any other medical appointment you may have had in the past.

Following this initial call we will facilitate setting up an in person or virtual consultations with the appropriate specialists. Based on your individual risk factors and preferences they will design a treatment plan just for you.
