Dr. Janet Yeh
Breast Surgeon
Dr. Janet Yeh is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship trained breast surgical oncologist. She specializes in the treatment of breast cancer, patients at high risk for breast cancer as well as all benign breast diseases. She is currently the director of program development for breast surgery at Lenox Health Greenwich Village. She was born and raised in New York City. She received her undergraduate degree in
neuroscience at the University of Wisconsin Madison followed by 2 years of clinical research at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in anesthesia and surgery. She obtained her medical degree at State University at Buffalo school of medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. This was followed by a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at NYU school of medicine. She became director of breast surgery at Clara Maas hospital, which is part of the Saint Barnabas Medical Center before being recruited back to NYU to be section Chief of breast surgery at NYU Brooklyn for almost 7 years. She now joins Northwell Health with the goal of increasing and improving breast care in both the uptown and lower Manhattan regions.
